So, this weekend I finally got around to finishing Paul Young’s The Shack. I actually started this book over a year ago, but somewhere between the teddy bears, gummi bear wars, and diaper changes I got busy. Certain elements of this book are quite controversial, namely the fact that God the Father (Papa) is portrayed as an overweight black woman, but there is much to enjoy regardless. Continue reading
